Rehabs that take MultiPlan in New Jersey

Coverage depends on the specific plan behind the MultiPlan network access, not on the network itself. Most plans that use MultiPlan include some level of substance use and mental health benefit, but the level of care covered, the length of stay authorized and the amount you pay are decided by your own policy. Call the member services number on your card and ask a New Jersey facility's admissions staff to confirm before you commit.

MultiPlan is generally a network that other plans rent access to, so "in network" usually means the facility has agreed to MultiPlan's negotiated rates for your underlying plan. Ask the facility directly whether they hold a current MultiPlan agreement and whether your particular plan is one that uses it, since a facility can participate in the network without every plan applying the same benefit level.

Have your card in hand and call the member number on the back. Ask whether your plan uses the MultiPlan network in New Jersey, what your deductible and coinsurance are, whether detox, inpatient, PHP, IOP or outpatient require prior authorization, and how many days or sessions are authorized at a time.
