Rehabs that take Health Net in Colorado

Six facilities in Colorado listed here report accepting Health Net, and all six also report accepting Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Cigna. That is what each program tells the directory about itself, not a confirmation of your benefits — plan type, network status and authorization rules differ from one Health Net policy to the next, so confirm directly with the facility's admissions staff and with the member number on your card.

Most commercial plans include substance use and mental health benefits, and Colorado's Division of Insurance oversees parity requirements for state-regulated policies. Whether your particular plan covers a given level of care, and at what share of cost, depends on the plan documents — ask your insurer to read you the behavioral health section.

Call the behavioral health number printed on the back of your Health Net card and ask three things: is this facility in network, does this level of care need prior authorization, and what is my deductible and coinsurance for it. Then call the facility and ask them to run the same check, since admissions teams verify benefits before intake.

Five of the six Colorado programs listed report offering detox. Coverage for withdrawal management is usually tied to medical necessity criteria and sometimes to a prior authorization, so ask the facility whether they will submit that request on your behalf before you arrive.
